Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3–5 business days. If your item or order is large, it may ship via one of our third-party freight carriers, which deliver from semi trucks with lift gates. Freight delivery is much more complicated than standard parcel shipping — you must schedule a drop-off time, be present for the delivery, and move items from the curb to your residence, among other differences. Sound stressful? If you prepare in advance with ourguide to freight delivery, it doesn’t have to be.
We strongly encourage reading the entire freight delivery guide, but here’s aquick snapshot of what you need to be ready for when you order a large package:- Your freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window of about 4–8 hours
- You’re required to be physically present at the specified delivery location during the scheduled window
- Freight shipments are carried in semi trucks, which have lift gates to assist with unloading
- Freight deliveries are dropped off at the curb and no further — not up the driveway, not the porch, not the garage, and most definitely not the backyard — so it’s on you to transport packages to their intended locatio
- For an easier time hauling items to your home or backyard, arrange for at least 2 helpers to be on standby during your delivery window
- You must sign for the shipment to indicate that you’ve accepted the delivery

The stainless steel trimmed glass door provides a full view of storage down to the floor, with recessed LED lighting to ensure an attractive and efficient presentation. The door comes in a right-hand door swing and features a self-closing design to help protect stored items in commercial settings where customers may not take the time to ensure a tight seal. This unit comes pre-installed on a dolly with four 3" casters for easy mobility, perfect for restaurants and bars. The dolly can also be removed and reattached as needed. A factory-installed lock offers additional security. This unit has a fully finished black cabinet and is designed for freestanding indoor use. Inside, the SCR1401RI utilizes frost-free operation for minimum user maintenance. The interior walls are made from stainless steel for improved durability and sanitation. Its reach-in design allows convenient user access to the interior, with seven adjustable U-shaped steel tray holders that can be rearranged on cantilevered clips to accommodate a variety of sizes. This unit comes with seven aluminum half-sheet pans, ideal for storing beverages and other sealed items. Seven chrome shelves are also included for user convenience. The digital control panel is conveniently located towards the top, allowing staff to adjust the temperature without bending to the floor. The readout can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Additional features include an audible high-temperature alarm, open door alarm, temperature memory function, and sabbath mode setting. The SCR1401RI is ETL-S listed to NSF-7 for use in commercial settings. Its reach-in design makes it a great choice for bringing flexible, portable, and convenient beverage storage to commercial settings. Since 1969, Felix Storch, Inc. (FSI) has been manufacturing and distributing specialty major appliances to the residential, professional, commercial, hospitality, and scientific markets. Through our Summit Medical and Accucold® brand, we manufacture and distribute refrigeration for pharmaceutical, scientific, medical, and laboratory applications.
We carry over 600 basic models of specialty refrigerators, freezers and cooking appliances, including the industry's largest collection of built-in undercounter and ADA compliant models. Our residential and professional product line includes unique choices for smaller kitchens, with a large selection of frost-free refrigerators, gas & electric ranges and cooktops, wine cellars, beer dispensers, slim-fitting laundry and dishwashers, and weatherproof outdoor appliances. We also serve the commercial and foodservice market with beverage centers, display freezers, and other appliances that comply with NSF standards.
- RESIDENTIAL & PROFESSIONAL COLLECTION: For over 45 years, Summit Appliance has been the industry's answer to small kitchen spaces. Our frost-free refrigeration collection is specially designed for apartment and smaller kitchens, with a variety of slim and counter deep footprints not found in big box stores.
- COMMERCIAL LINE: Summit Commercial products include affordable storage freezers, fully assembled dipping cabinets, beer and wine kegerators, and reach-in refrigerators and freezers for use by any foodservice establishment. We also specialize in beverage merchandisers, icemakers, wine cellars, undercounter refrigeration, and back bar storage equipment in suitable footprints for smaller kitchen, bar, or retail spaces. Summit Commercial products meet UL and NSF standards for foodservice use.
- MEDICAL APPLIANCES: Our Accucold® division offers an extensive selection of refrigeration products aimed at the pharmaceutical, laboratory, medical, and life science markets. Products range from general purpose refrigerators and freezers with locks to laboratory chest freezers designed to store sensitive frozen materials at temperatures as low as -45ºC.
We work hard to expedite the order and delivery process, offering next day shipping on virtually all in-stock products. For the Northeast region of the United States, we deliver through own fleet of FSI trucks.
