Navico 9-Pin Dual Mix & Match Cable for Dual Element Transducers
For dual-socket Navico/Lowrance/Simrad xSonic 9-pin equipment
Mix and Match Cables for CHIRP Transducers
Many CHIRP transducers are now made as Mix and Match models. These versions have a common base transducer with an attached 9-meter cable, plus an interchangeable short (1-meter) brand-specific adapter cable.
The permanently-attached 9-meter cable ends in an Airmar 12-pin connector. This cable is run up through the boat to the equipment location. The short adapter cable connects to the transducer cable at one end and to the equipment at the other end.
Both parts are needed for an installation. If the user changes equipment brand at some later time, the transducer and its attached cable can be left in place and only the adapter cable needs to be replaced.
Note that CHIRP Mix and Match cables cannot be used with conventional 50/200kHz transducers.
