4. UV humidifiers combine keeping the air around wet with killing airborne germs. They are good for kids and people with allergies. However, they don't last for long.

Getting the right size of humidifier for your home is important because a big humidifier for a small room will lead to more mist in the air which could breed germs. Go for humidifiers that are easy to clean. They will last longer and give off a healthier mist. Choose humidifiers that you can easily disassemble, clean, and reassemble. Not cleaning the humidifier well could lead to the breeding of germs and molds.  Cleaning should be done at least once a month to ensure the supply of healthy mist.
