Its massive large scale is crafted using 100 percent Kilim Dried Solid Ash wood a perfect species of wood for this design with a grain and hardness very similar to that of American Oak. The 100 percent Hardwood Construction is roughly hewn with cross cut techniques offering a quality appearance and versatile design for a fitting placement in an Urban, Rustic, Lodge, Country style, befitting a beautiful and relaxed American Life Style. The table is hand finished in multi step natural wood finishing. The table features Hand Tooled Cordovan Genuine Leather Pockets Genuine Slate 1 inch Thick, Framed Back, 3 Pieces 1 inch slate arrives cut to precision fit with a solid wood slate support frame and bonded to the underside of each slate piece for ease of handling and installation. Double crossbeam construction offers proper weight bearing capabilities. INSTALLATION The base of table comes completely assembled for strength, The legs require mounting to the base, The Slate will sit and mount easily on top of the base, You will appreciate that the slate is sent in 3 pieces for ease of lifting, handling and to reduce risk of breakage. At that time, the customers were contract designers, art dealers, and specialty dealers of antique furnishings.
